The identity of the female pedestrian was killed late Monday night in Terre Haute after being hit by two different cars has not been released. Police say the woman was crossing Hwy 41 by Oak Street when she was struck by a pickup truck, and then struck by another car in the passing lane. The driver of the pickup stopped immediately, and the driver of the car, who had continued driving from the scene, reported to Terre Haute Police headquarters a few hours later. Police Officials have completed their investigation and the prosecutor’s office will look into filing charges.
