Five people were injured in a multi-car crash Tuesday morning which involved a Terre Haute police officer. Police say that an officer had attempted to pull over a truck that had been driving suspiciously near 13th and Crawford Streets, when the truck suddenly sped up and hit several cars that were stopped at a traffic light. Five people, including the police officer, were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Police are still investigating the reason for the trucks’ actions that caused the crash.
