WASHINGTON (WTAQ) - Troubled Congressman Anthony Weiner is reportedly telling friends he plans to resign at a press conference Thursday.
The New York Democrat has been embroiled in a sexting controversy, along with sending several inappropriate e-mails to women.
The married 46-year-old Weiner has been in Congress since 1999. Weiner announced earlier this week that he's seeking professional treatment and took a leave of absence from Congress.
