TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WIBQ) - A Terre Haute teen who crashed a truck into a house, then tried to flee by hopping a freight train is in trouble. Terre Haute Police say the 17-year-old stole the truck, crashed it into a house on South 13 1/2 Street, then fled on foot. He then later jumped on a slow moving freight train, but fell off.

Witnesses said the teen lost a part of a foot as he jumped on the train. The teen faces charges of receiving stolen property, leaving the scene of an accident with injuries, railroad trespass, operating while intoxicated and operator never licensed.
